Richie: Dressing for Comfort
Traditionally, style meant squeezing into those stilettos and sacrificing comfort (which, at times is worth it). And comfort meant letting it all hang out in sweatshirts and letting go of style (which, we suppose is worth it, too…occasionally). But Nicole Richie believes there is another way, “I’ve always been someone who dresses for comfort, so I wanted everything in the clothing and shoe collections to be really easy to wear” (In Style, March 2010). Richie turned her beliefs into reality with her Winter Kate clothing line (soft fabrics, loose feminine shapes) and her House of Harlow 1960 footwear (buttery soft leather, flat moccasins, supportive heels). All we have to say is…THANK YOU, NICOLE!

i LOVE House of Harlow and Winter Kate! I think that they are truly creative and amazing, and are a unique show of style. Everytime I wear my House of Harlow Black Resin Necklace, I get compliments on it. I love how she compliments African-Styled jewelery and their style. I went to Africa in April of 2009, and it was the most life changing experience. Nicole does a beautiful job of expressing and showing how art is truly created. Love these labels.
